How the JetWash Works

Controlled from the JetStream Console, the JetWash Station can clean the inside of a JetStream Printhead or backflush the Gun Body. When a coverless JetStream Printhead is inserted into the JetWash’s Printhead Holder, the JetStream activates a Pump in the JetWash’s Motor Housing to pull makeup fluid from the Clean Makeup Container and spray it at the Gun Body inside the Cleaning Bay. The makeup fluid washes away ink and contaminants, which drain down into the Waste Makeup Container. The Jetwash then shoots jets of air at the Printhead to dry it. Once dry, the Printhead can be removed from the JetWash, the Printhead Cover secured back on it, and it can be tested to verify that it is ready to print again.
